ACM GET Program
The American College of Music has created a Master’s in Music Education program aimed at students who hold a bachelor’s degree in a field other than music education and possess a musical background. This program serves as a pathway to teaching in the classroom. Once accepted into the Master of Music in Education (MME) program, the faculty advisor will collaborate with the student to design a course schedule that includes all the necessary subjects to help the student obtain a teaching credential gateway. Please note that this is not a credentialing program. For details, it is recommended to consult your state’s education department.
