The GET Details

The American College of Music has created a Master’s in Music Education program aimed at students who need a single-subject credential in music education. This program serves as a pathway to teaching music in the classroom, with or without an undergraduate degree in music. Once accepted into the Master of Music in Education (MME) program, the faculty advisor collaborates with the student to design a course schedule that includes all the necessary subjects to help the student obtain a teaching credential gateway. Please note that this is not a credentialing program. For details, it is recommended to consult your state’s department of education.
